I am a retiree, born in the 1960s, with an enduring passion for the music of Mike Brant, which marked my high school years. Throughout my professional life, I also had the pleasure of producing wine, an activity that reflects my attachment to tradition and craftsmanship. Today, I enjoy life and dream of discovering Canada, a destination that has always fascinated me. My accommodation is a family home full of history, where every wall tells a story. My identity is verified, a guarantee of seriousness and trust.
Nestled in the heart of Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny lives and breathes wine, tradition and nature. This charming village is internationally celebrated for its Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards such as Musigny and Bonnes-Mares, and about 24 Premier Cru climats that cover some of the most prestigious terrain in the region.
The landscape is sculpted by vineyards that climb the slopes of a gentle escarpment, facing southeast and east, catching the morning sun. In contrast, to the north and south the village is cut by dry valleys (“combes”), like the famous Combe Ambin, which give relief and variation — sheltered pockets, differing exposures, cooler air in summer evenings.
Architecture in the village is a harmonious blend: stone walls, traditional vine-covered plots, farmhouses and wine estates that border and intermingle with the vine parcels. The roads are winding and sometimes steep, reflecting the topography of the hillside and the way villagers have built around vines, woods and combes. The church of Sainte-Barbe-et-Saint-Sébastien, dating from the early 1500s, is a landmark and contributes to the village’s historic character.
Forest and green spaces contribute to the beauty and tranquillity: there are classified natural sites, woodlands just above the vineyards, and protected ecological zones. These offer shaded walks, fresh air, and views over the vine-covered hills. The elevation ranges from around 238 to 445 meters, which means you’ll experience subtle shifts in climate and scenery as you move across the area.
From your house, you can step out into vine rows, quiet country lanes, or shaded woods; at certain vantage points you’ll see sweeping views of the Burgundy hills, with patchworks of green, gold and russet depending on the season. In spring, blossoms and fresh foliage; in autumn, vines turn deep reds and golds. It’s a landscape that changes beautifully with the year and invites slowing down, breathing deeply, tasting wine and enjoying
