On the lands of Louis-Urbain Aubert Marquis de Tourny, intendant of Bordeaux under the reign of Louis XV, stands the Château Tanesse de Tourny. The origins of the beautiful building go back several centuries because it was probably part of the conventual buildings linked to the Notre Dame de Bayon church of the 11th century, it was in his manor house that the Marquis de Tourny liked to come and hunt with his friends and enjoy good wines; the chateau has undergone numerous modifications up to the present appearance with its beautiful 1st empire style freestone facade. Several families lived in the castle. and our story begins: After 2 years of renovation the castle is ready to receive its guests in five luxury rooms and suites furnished with a mixture of old style and modern design timeless; two lounges are available to our guests, breakfasts and dinners are served in the Charles X dining room with a breathtaking view of the vineyard, during the summer on our terrace or in the park in the shade of the chestnut trees. The five-hectare park on the edge of the village is conducive to relaxation, you could recharge your batteries in the woods in the shade of the great hundred-year-old cedars of Lebanon: playground for a couple of squirrels, walk in the meadows and between the rows of vines and meet the young deer...Roi du Chateau is our cat
