Chez Claire, peaceful in-town location is located in Excideuil. The house is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as fishing, canoeing and tennis. This end terrace house includes 1 bedroom, a living room and a TV, an equipped kitchen with a dining area, and 1 shower room with a second toilet and utility with washing machine on the ground floor. If you would like to discover the area, hiking, golfing and cycling are possible in the surroundings. The nearest airport is Limoges International Airport, 44.7 miles from Chez Claire, peaceful in-town location. We speak your language! Chez Claire, peaceful in-town location has been welcoming guests since 9 Mar 2020.
WE have owned the house since 2018, and fully restored the property with all mod cons, new wiring and plumbing, full insulation and a new back yard. We enjoy the property ourselves on holidays and we keep the house in excellent condition. Our cleaner Tina is situated close by allowing any minor issues to be sorted very quickly.
Chez Claire is in a conservation area with records showing a dwelling on the plot before the 16th Century. The road is very narrow and only the very smallest of cars can come up it. The town originally developed around a 10th century monastery, in a peaceful setting in the valley of the River Loue. There are a couple of reasons to visit Excideuil, apart from the interesting old-town itself with its gothic church and 16th century houses: The first is the Thursday market, when the village leaps to life with reputedly the busiest market in the region
