Please note: eight euros compulsory linen rental to be paid at check-in (not for camping, take tent/van and sleeping bag !!). Location de draps obligatoire, huit euros (hors camping: vous devez avoir tente/van et sac de couchage).
Don't miss the Fontainebleau forest, with its +/- 35.000 world class registred boulders. Also exceptional for hiking. You can walk to famous areas of Elephant, Dame Jouanne, Maunoury (3 km/2 miles). Definitely visit Fontainebleau chateau/palace 12 km/7.5 miles/bus connection). Medieval town of Larchant, former middle-age pilgrimage (6 km/ 4 miles). All you need within walking distance of Fontaineblhostel: supermarket, bakery, ATM, restaurants.
