Welcome to Chelona'Loc! My name is Charlène, and I'm delighted to welcome you to my accommodation in the west of France. Inspired by the turtle that carries its ‘house on its back’, I created Chelona'Loc to offer you a comfortable stay, wherever you are. Each accommodation is named after a species of turtle, for a unique touch. My aim: to make your stay unforgettable and warm. See you soon! Welcome to our Gîte Chelona d'Hermann , a spacious 60 m² single-storey gîte, ideal for 1 to 6 people. Located just a stone's throw from the bakery, it offers all the comforts you need to feel at home: 6 beds in 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee makers, etc.), as well as wifi and TV to relax in. For families, everything is provided: cot, high chair, toys and books for children. Free private parking is available just outside the gîte. The gîte is located close to local points of interest: 50 metres from the bakery, 8 minutes from the Blayais nuclear power station, 10 minutes from the Terres d'Oiseaux bird park and 15 minutes from the Blaye Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage site. For nature lovers, the Terres d'Oiseaux ornithological park is a 10-minute drive away: a magical place to observe a wide variety of bird species in the heart of a preserved environment. The Citadelle de Blaye, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is just 15 minutes away, offering a fascinating insight into the region's history.
