Gite de Calvet has been tastefully renovated to retain its charm whilst providing quality accommodation which comfortably sleeps 4 with two double bedrooms, one of which can be a twin. The property has a large open-plan kitchen, dining living space and one bathroom. Guests have access to a large pool with sun loungers and an abundance of outside space, including a terrace area for alfresco dining and plenty of parking. Gite de Calvet provides the perfect location for a fabulous holiday enjoying all the region has to offer. Your friendly hosts, Brad and Zoe, are on site and can provide information and insights about the area to enhance your stay.
Your hosts are Brad, Zoe and our two children. After deciding to leave the UK, we began our search for a slower pace of life and our dream family home in France. After much searching, we found Manoir de Calvet and moved from the UK to France in April 2023 to begin a new chapter in our lives. Our ambition was to establish a holiday rental and a family home but more importantly to immerse ourselves into the French way of life. An abundance of natural beauty, strong cultural heritage, stunning landscapes and long summer days provide the perfect backdrop for our lives here in France. We welcome you to come and see for yourselves, what this fantastic part of France has to offer. 
Manoir de Calvet is situated in the Quercy Blanc region. Dominating the valley below it sits on a promontory, boasting breathing taking views of the market town of Montcuq and its famous tower. Amidst a rich tapestry of lush countryside crisscrossed by woodlands, streams and meadows, the area remains agriculturally active and is a haven for wildlife. The surrounding region offers magnificent countryside, rugged limestone plateaus and valleys. The region is steeped in history and has a great many cultural heritage sites, museums, vineyards and market towns. This provides the perfect recipe for those wishing to embrace its rich culture, gastromony and to enjoy the relaxed pace of life. For those looking for adventure, walking, cycling, trekking and kayaking are just some of the popular activities in the region.
