I have a passion for interior design. I love renovating old properties and this house has been a labour of love and on occasions extreme endurance, particularly when it came to the garden. But it has all been worth it. I love living in France and the way of life it offers you, I have embrassed it and now the house is done, although there is always another project to do, I am concentrating on learning the language.

L’Arbre D’Ange is a small exclusive bed and breakfast set in a large garden with a pool, located in the heart of Montmorillon. The whole essence of a stay here is one of comfort, peace and tranquillity with the convenience of being in the middle of town. Our intension is to make you feel instantly at ease during your stay with us. We offer a very personal home from home service and are here for you throughout your stay. L’Arbre D’Ange is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet street yet just a two minute walk away from the main square and medieval side of town on the River Gartempe. We are open throughout the year with the exception of Christmas and New Year. We look forward to welcoming you into our home where a relaxed atmosphere and peaceful stay awaits you.

Neighbourhood information

Welcome to Montmorillon’s Cité de l’Écrit. This is a book lover’s paradise, but with its winding cobbled streets, medieval buildings places to eat and a painter’s view at every turn, the Cite de l’Ecrit has plenty to offer everyone. Montmorillon is in the west of the Vienne department approximately 45 kilometers from Poitiers. It is classed as a ‘Town of Art and History’ which reflects its focus on preserving its historical heritage.
