Set in its own grounds just minutes from the beautiful Cordes Sur Ciel (less than 3kms away) our Bastide, a Medieval tower, offers you a unique stay with total privacy.
With your own entrance, welcoming double height hallway, ancient oak doors lead you into a charming bedroom with a 4 poster king size bed, double aspect windows, air-con and heating.
Your full en-suite bathroom is spacious and luxuriously appointed with Large bath, shower cubicle, sink, bidet and WC.
There's a large covered outside dining area, seating and a table for alfresco breakfasts in the flower filled courtyard or down in the tiered gardens overlooking the lovely open countryside, wherever you would prefer.
Having owned and run Chambre D'Hotes accommodation here in France for many years, firstly at nearby Chateau La Roussille and Maison Fleurie in Cordes Sur Ciel, this is our new home and we are delighted to offer you an opportunity to stay here with us.
The suite takes over the whole of the ground floor and we live on the top 2 floors with Grace and Rufus our 2 Cockers who may pop down to say Bonjour.
Our resident cats are not allowed inside the ground floor at all if you have any allergies.
Set in an untouched, natural area of gently undulating hills rolling down to the river Cerou just below us, and the Medieval National Monument 'Pont DES ANES' it is a beautiful, calm and tranquil place 'far from the madding crowd'
Cordes sur Ciel is 3kms away for an interesting visit and stunning architecture up in the ancient quarter and restaurants, cafe's and shops are here, as well as Les Cabannes.
Many Medieval towns and villages are available for you to easily visit by car as well as Kayaking and amazing country walks.
The UNESCO Heritage site of Albi is 20 minutes away with the fabulous Cathedral, Toulouse Lautrec Museum and numerous eateries and shops as well as one of Frances oldest wine producing regions, Gaillac, both equidistant from La Bastide de La Bogne.
Our new pool will be open from late summer 2024 to add a bit of luxurious relaxation to your visit.
