La Dovecote Sarlat is a beautifully restored farmhouse. Set in a tranquil green valley, yet only a five minute drive to Sarlat-la-Caneda. Benefittng from a heated pool( heated18/05-15/09) terrasse with views of the garden. There is free onsite parking and wifi. Each room has an ensuite shower rom, hairdryer, nespresso coffee maker and electric fan. There is a guest lounge with T.V. and a dining room for breakfast on cooler days. Quality linen and pool towels are provided too. We have two cats who could be sunning themselves in the garden.

The area of the Perigord Noir has a multitude of activities, events, sports and historical monuments to occupy your stay. Sarlat-La-Caneda itself is a must visit, a beautiful, well preserved medieval town, full of life. Only a short drive from La Dovecote Sarlat you will find, castles, gardens, rivers, forests, prehistoric caves and more. You can take a canoe down the Dordogne or Vezere, with a picnic and a unique view of the castles. There is hiking and biking on numerous trails. Take a hot air balloon ride for a birds eye view or the river, glorious countryside and castles. Try a climbing trip for the more adventurous. The whole area is renowned for gourmet and farmers regional produce. You can discover all of these delights at daily markets and night markets in the summer months. The list of activities seems endless, you will never be bored. We are sure you will want to come again and explore further.
