A terraced cottage which has been extensively renovated to a high standard with modern conveniences, but retaining it's original character and charm. This luxury accommodation has two beautiful bedrooms, a modern bathroom and kitchen, and a comfortable lounge with log burner. There are lovely gardens to the front of the house with a seating area under cover, and a dining area for those warm summer nights. Storage available for bikes etc. In a quiet hamlet with just a few other houses, this offers a relaxing retreat for a holiday, or a stop off en route to other places. Semi retired in France, we enjoy meeting new people, eating out, walking, and renovating.
A quiet hamlet with a few houses in the heart of the Creuse countryside. Just a few minutes from Azerables, which has a bakery, Vival Supermarket, Bar/Restaurant, Pharmacy, and Church. A lake with a man made beach and cafe can be found 2 minutes away by car. Les Grands Chezeau is around 10 minutes away, with another bar/restaurant, Chaillac some 20 minutes is a lively little town with several bar restaurants, and Saint Benoit du Sault is a pretty medieval town set up high over the river, with further facilities and a Super U. Whether you're planning on a cycling holiday, walking, or just driving around to explore the lovely French countryside, this house offers a relaxing and comfortable stay in a very pretty hamlet.
