After traveling and living in various parts of the world, we (Joost and Sze) spent over a year to overhaul a 185 years Bourgeoise house with our own hands. We offer two bedrooms with private baths to provide you comfort and privacy. We have one double room with a double bed and one twin rooms with two single beds. Rooms at the back feature the woodframed wall, front rooms feature 'en pierre' walls and windows. Through this offer we like to serve long distance cyclists, we have a bicycle shed to store your bicycles over night.

Sze is a professional dance artist; studied at the European Dance Development Centre and Joost studied Natural Resources Management in Arnhem, The Netherlands. After finishing our studies Sze went back to Hong Kong while Joost worked in Botswana and the Philippines where he worked with indigenous peoples on the sustainable use of their natural resources. After we married we lived in a remote part of Ghana where Joost worked on resolving resources conflicts in and around national parks. We spend ten years in Hong Kong where Sze pursued her interests in art and dance. Sze received the Hong Kong Dance award in 2004, and Special Award for HK Dance Film Maker in 2008. We sought a way to create a space to share our experiences. After travelling through North-East Asia the idea of a retreat or min-sú started to take shape, but one with a twist...

Terrasson-Lavilledieu is an ideal, off the tourist trail, base from which to explore the highlights of this beautiful area.
