Bonjour, we are Simon & Nadine - we look forward to welcoming you at La Prairie Étoilée Glamping (est 2021). We are warm and friendly hosts that live on site but respect your privacy. We just want you to have the best time so if there is anything you need during your stay, do let us know. Simon is a chef and on site, we have lots of dining options to save you having to venture out to shop, when you just want to relax! You can opt to have delicious breakfast baskets delivered to your tent, eat in our on site table d'hôtes, where we serve an aperitif followed by 4 courses, and order barbecue packs and ingredients for real campfire cooking experiences. We can even provide a celebration picnic a romantic lunche while you are out and about! If you are celebrating, tell us - we can arrange flowers, chocolates, champagne or just let us know what you have in mind! We are looking forward to meeting you! As seen on TV! La Prairie Étoilée is a unique, off grid and back to nature, glamping experience, primarily for couples where you can thoroughly rest and relax. Solo travelers are also very welcome and feel safe and comfortable here. Step inside your luxury Lotus Belle tent and immediately relax with its calming decor, light and space. Sink into the kingsize bed with 400 count Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow cases, gel pillows, micro fibre quilt and natural linen duvet covers for a sumptuous night’s sleep. Solar lighting sets the mood in an interior designed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Outside, you'll find your own dining and kitchen pavilion - a covered bamboo structure providing shelter and dappled shade. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast or prepare an alfresco meal and dine by candlelight as you watch the sunset. Experience magical evenings around your very own campfire. Toast marshmallows, grab your snuggle blankets and stargaze to your heart's content. Your private bathroom is just a short distance away and is equipped with a spacious shower,large fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Sustainable and eco friendly, rest assured that you are doing your bit to save the planet! And with just 3 tents on site you'll enjoy the this private and intimate setting. Perfect for spending quality time together in nature. Also on site is a small plunge pool and garden subathing area and tandem hire for fun adventures. You'll have everything you need to self cater however, breakfast, barbecue and first night hampers are available to order - you are on holiday after all! The Dining Barn is where we hold our table d'hotes. Cold drinks, wines, ciders and beers are available to purchase as are a few essential items.

We are situated in a very green, rural area, a little way outside the village of Crozon-Sur-Vauvre in the beautiful, unspoilt Indre, Centre-Val de Loire - its everything you love about France but off the beaten path. Have car free days, relaxing by the pool, or rambling (there are walking routes from right outside). Bring your bikes or hire a tandem for a fun way to explore the local area - the lanes and roads are excellent and quiet! Explore the stunning Creuse valley with beautiful beaches, lakes and rivers for swimming and kayaking, the Venice of Berry (Argenton-Sur-Creuse) and two of the most beautiful villages in France (and that's official!). George Sand, a very famous 19th century writer lived nearby, you can visit the home of this colourful author and the places SHE wrote about. Go wine or cheese tasting, visit a brocante or local markets. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding towns and villages, for eating out, as well as our on-site table d’hôtes. The nearest bakery, butchers and general store is at Crevant just 6 minutes by car. Aigurande is the nearest town around 7km away & has a vibrant market, as does La Chatre, 20 km away.
