La Terrasse is a spacious and well designed accommodation sleeping 6-8 with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open plan living, eating and cooking area. In the winter the apartment has a private outdoor hot tub and in the summer the private south facing garden with access to a summer swimming pool is a wonderful spot to relax with the family. There is wheelchair access to La Terrasse Parking is limited to two cars, we can not accommodate camper vans. We do allow pets but please check with us first (as we have a dog ourselves)
Me and my husband Joss are both keen snowboarders in the winter and hikers, bikers and climbers in the summer. That is why we love Samoens and the Grand Massif and all it has to offer. Joss is a level 3 snowboard instructor and spent 10 seasons working in the USA and New Zealand. I am a Physiotherapist and have spent 6 seasons in France and New Zealand. Prior to living in France they lived in the beautiful village of Holmbury St Mary in Surrey working at McLaren Automotive and Nuffield Health respectively, but in 2016 decided that the time was right to move to France, buy a chalet and live their dream of waking up every morning in the mountains.
La Terrasse is located a small hamlet away from the bustle of everyday life. It is only a short walk to Morillon with shops, bars and restaurants and a 5 minute car//bus ride into the wonderful village of Samoens. The ski area is 'The Grand Massif' with 265km of skiable piste and endless off-piste options it really does have terrain to suit everyone. The resort is made up of Morillon, Samoens, Sixt, Les Carroz and Flaine rising to a height of 2500m and stunning views over Mont Blanc. Whether you are here in summer and are watching cows munch grass in the next door field whilst you take a swim, or in the winter and relaxing in the hot tub as snowflakes fall sliently around you, you are sure to have a wonderful holiday.
