After 02/10/2020 with the destructive passage of storm Alex, many roads in Val Roja were interrupted.

I give below an updated situation of the roads and tracks to reach the village of d Tende.

- the Col di Tende tunnel between Italy and France is closed, and even today all the mountain slopes between Limone Piemonte and Casterino Tenda are not passable due to snow.

- the RD6204 national road is open up to Vievola, but between Fontan and St.Dalmazzo de Tende the RD6204 can be traveled during the day respecting the scheduled times ...

- the national road between Breil sur Roja and Ventimiglia (ITALY) is open respecting the scheduled times....

- the road between Breil sur Roja / Sospel / Menton / Nice is open 24 hours a day....

- Currently Casterino is not accessible by car but only on foot, some tracks might be open between S. Dalmazzo de Tende and Casterino or between Tende and Casterino for the summer season but the opening dates are not available at this time day ...

- the Valley of Wonders can be reached on foot from Vievola via Vallone di Caramagna or from St Dalmazzo di Tende e Tende via roads interrupted by landslides.

Given the interruption of the RD6204 the Bed and Breakfast guarantee you peace and silence due to the lack of traffic outside the passage of residents and therefore in contact with nature.
