We invite you to come and enjoy our beautiful appartment "Chez Laurien" in one of the most beautiful towns in the south of France, Villeneuve lez Avignon. The appartment has just been renovated and enjoys a unique location on the edge of the town centre, in a small, quiet residence, with a large terrace where the only sounds are the birds and cicadas. You will find all the comforts you need to relax from your daily life and, if you wish, you can leave your car parked and get around on foot, by bike (Vélopop' 250 m away) or by bus (also 250 m away) to totally disconnect and enjoy yourself. Avignon TGV station is around 15 minutes away, and Montpellier and Marseille-Provence airports are around 1 hour away. The 50 m² apartment is equipped with a heat pump (hot/cold) in the living room and in the bedroom. The large living room has a 140x195 sofa bed, TV and fibre-optic internet/wifi. The kitchen is fully equipped: Dolce Gusto coffee maker, electric kettle, oven/microwave combi, dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment. The bedroom has a large double bed (160x200) with a double duvet, a chest of drawers and a clothes rack. The bedroom gives access to the shower room. There is a separate WC. Access to the very large terrace (approx. 85 m²) is via 2 French windows in the living room. It is equipped with a table, chairs, 2 sun loungers and a parasol, so you can make the most of the mild days and evenings in the south of France.

Villeneuve lez Avignon is a lively little town of around 12,000 inhabitants, with a historic town centre well worth a visit. You'll find Le Fort Saint-André, La Chartreuse, La plaine de l'Abbaye, as well as numerous restaurants and bars, small shops, a large market and a weekly flea market, food-trucks... all within walking distance of the apartment. Of course, you are only 10 minutes by car/15 minutes by bike from the famous city of the Popes, Avignon, with its Festival in July, but also its Pont d'Avignon, “Sur le pont d’Avignon, on y danse, on y danse…”, and many other events, its monuments, its museums, its shops... All the treasures of our magnificent region are less than an hour's drive away. There's something for everyone, whether you're into culture, sport, lounging or strolling, you'll find what you're looking for. To name just a few of our favourites: Mont Ventoux, with its beautiful hikes or cycling trails, the Lubéron, with its picturesque villages and lavender fields, also to be discovered by bike, and the magnificent Ducal town of Uzès, the Pont du Gard or Collias, a refreshing dip in the Gardon or a canoe trip, the Ardèche, Saint Rémy de Provence, Les Baux de Provence with its Carrière des Lumières and its castle, the Alpilles, Montpellier and the beaches of Occitanie, Nîmes, Marseille, the Calanques...
