Two charming holiday cottages in the heart of Southern Burgundy!
Welcome to Clessé, one of only five villages in Saône-et-Loire awarded « Cité de Caractère » label. Nestled in preserved natural setting, this authentic village invites you to enjoy a peaceful break surrounded by nature, heritage and history.
It is here, in Quintaine, a delightful hamlet between Viré and Clessé, that Marion and Benoît welcome you to their property, dating from the early 19th century. The house, typical of the region, stands out with its Clunisian gallery and its elegant, understated Burgundian style. Built from white stone extracted from the old local quarries, this characterful home now hosts two charming cottages, restored with care and passion in 2018.
Tastefully renovated using quality materials, the cottages retain the soul of the house while offering all the comforts of modern living.
Outside, a peaceful, flower-filled and shaded garden invites you to relax, read or simply enjoy a glass of Viré-Clessé, the renowed white wine (AOC) produced right around the property.
The perfect location to discover Burgundy!
Located in the heart of the Viré-Clessé vineyards, along the famous Burgundy Wine road, the property is the perfect base to explore the Romanesque churches of the « Mâconnais », the historic towns of Cluny and Tournus, and the rolling hills of the Mâconnais countryside.
Getting here is easy and convenient, whether you travel by car or train. Just 9 km from the A6 motorway, the property is less than two hours from Lyon, Dijon, or Geneva. And from Paris Gare de Lyon, you can reach the Mâcon-Loché TGV station in just 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Let yourself be charmed by the quiet beauty of Clessé and the warm welcome of your hosts. Whether for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, treat yourself to a peaceful escape in the heart of authentic, generous Burgundy.
A return to their roots!
After 20 years in Paris, working in the world of events and communication, Marion and Benoît decided to start a new chapter in their lives. Originally from Mâcon, they decided to reconnect with their roots and get back to what truly matters: nature, simplicity and taking the time to enjoy life.
Driven by the desire to share their little paradise, they now offer their sense of hospitality and professional experience to welcome travelers in search of peace, discovery and authenticity.
