Pascale worked for 7 years in Pauillac, in the Baron Philippe de Rothschild Company, which allowed her to discover and appreciate the Médoc region. Then she moved to Kourou, French Guiana, where she started cooking by creating her Pause Canopée Table d’Hôtes. On their return to France, Pascale and her husband naturally decided to return in the Medoc area. Alex is now retired and help Pascale in her activity. Thanks to him, the garden is so nice! Pascale and Alex make it a point of honor to warmly welcome their guests and help them feel at home. Pascale offers healthy and gourmet meals cooked with local products and offers a nice wine list with Médoc wines. Some Grands Crus Classés can be served by the glass. It is with great pleasure that Pascale and Alex assist guests in organizing their stay, by booking tastings or renting bicycles.

Our house offers five guest rooms, each with a different decoration and a private bathroom with toilet. The house has beautiful volumes and wooden floors. Some walls are made of local stone. A corridor with old cement tiles leads to a beautiful spiral staircase. Four bedrooms are upstairs.The fifth one is on the garden level, with the bed on a mezzanine. Its access is independent. Guests are welcome in the dining room where breakfasts and table d'hôtes meals are served.Oysters and cheeses can be supplied to order. The lounge offers a relaxing area where tourist information, books on the region and board games are available. In winter, a wood fire will warm the atmosphere. In the summer, the heated swimming pool, the outdoor lounges and the hammocks in the tree-lined garden invite you to relax. A large kitchen with a lot of charm allows Pascale to prepare meals for the greatest pleasure of her guests.

Our guest house is located at one hour from Bordeaux, on the Route des Châteaux, in the heart of the Pauillac vineyards and close to prestigious wine estates. Pauillac and Saint Julien de Beychevelle are 3 minutes away by car and Saint-Estèphe is 15 minutes away. In 30 minutes, you will be on the beaches of the Atlantic Cost and in an hour's drive, you will reach Soulac and Le Verdon along the Gironde Estuary.
