Il règne une atmosphère particulière dans ce quartier au riche passé industriel, ou les bâtiments qui portent la mémoire de cette période où Troyes était le poumon de la production textile, ont été parfaitement réhabilités et remis en valeur. Le quartier est calme et paisible proche de toutes les activités commerçantes du centre ville
