Our B&B is a modern house build in 2000 by local architect Michel Galibert on the top of a hill overlooking the Pyrenees and the Golf Course de Carcassonne is only 500 meters away. We offer 2 large modern B&B rooms with all the comforts of today. Our Suite is supplied with a new AC unit. We supply complimentary tea and coffee, mineral water, bathrobes, slippers, Fiber-WiFi, mini fridge, books, children’s games, large TV’s with French and International satellite TV. Each rooms has a private terrace with furniture. Our fantastic swimming pool (9x4.5 meters) is overlooking the Pyrenees, so whilst swimming you will enjoy a breathtaking view. We also offer monthly rates in case you want to stay longer to find the right house or simply avoid the wet winters in the North of Europe. Please contact us direct.
BJ and Iris have both studied at the Hotelschool in the Hague in the Netherlands. BJ has worked as General Manager for Marriott International for 30 years in various roles in Europe and we have started our own company in Carcassonne in October 2015, offering B&B accommodation in Carcassonne and a holiday home for 8 people with a private pool (8x4 meter) in Carcassonne, 600 meters from the lake La Cavayère. We speak 5 languages.
Auriac, the quiet residential neighbourhood is close to the local Golf de Carcassonne and only 3.5 km from La Cite, the famous castle in Carcassonne and there is even a local bus number 2 with a limited schedule. It is very calm and is a good start for a hiking or walking day or a tour with your bicycle. The 18-hole golf course de Carcassonne is 500 meters from our property. We are 15 minutes from the "Lac de la Cavayère", a large lake south from Carcassonne with watersport activities, tree climbing parc, 2 beaches, a running and walking track around the lake (5km).
