Les Bouts de Ralle Chambre d'Hotes is a beautifully renovated 17th century farmhouse set within grounds of over half a hectare, right in the heart of the countryside, 3km from the centre of the village of Sainte-Osmane. A lot of love and care has gone into turning our longère into a warm, welcoming and beautiful place to stay. We have three rooms, all en-suite. The largest has its own private entrance via a stairway to a balcony that looks out over the garden towards the sunset. Our other two rooms – one with a shower, the other with a magnificent roll top bath – have soaring ceilings with exposed beams that give you a glimpse of how the original barn used to look. Solid oak floors are laid in all three guest bedrooms, along with hand made oak doors using hand forged hinges and door handles which enhance the character of the building. We have a large, sunny breakfast room for you to enjoy your continental breakfast, there is comfortable seating where you can relax in the evenings too. We often offer evening meals for an additional cost, bookable in advance... please check availability with us before reserving a room. We have secure parking, ideal for both cars and motorcycles.

Philip and Julie moved to France from the UK late in 2015 and opened 'Les Bouts' in the summer of 2016. We have stayed in any number of hotels, self-catering apartments and Chambre d’Hotes over the years and hope to offer the best of these experiences to our guests. We fell in love with our house as soon as we saw it and enjoy every day of our new lives living life in the French style... we hope you will love our home as much as we do and enjoy your stay with us. Philip and Julie live at 'Les Bouts' and will always do what they can to help guests with any requests they might have... which restaurants to visit, the best places to see, where to find an ATM or the nearest petrol station... or maybe where to go to for a really good cup of coffee! Evening meals are often available to guests... when available, we typically serve a three course meal with complimentary coffee in our dining room. Please contact us before you reserve your room if you are interested in an evening meal at 'Les Bouts' so that we can check availability and send you a menu for the dates of your stay.

Les Bouts de Ralle may be snuggled in the heart of the countryside, but we are well placed with several large towns and places of interest in the surrounding area. Drive for ten minutes and you can visit the Château de Courtanveaux, enjoy a guided tour of the interior and take a leisurely stroll around the large lake. The market towns of Saint Calais and Bessé-sur-Bray are less than 15 minutes away with restaurants, shops, chemists and banks should you need them. A little further afield is the bustling city of Le Mans with its beautiful old town and cathedral, towns like Vendome, La Ferté-Bernard and La Chartre-sur-le-Loir with it’s strong racing car heritage. Le Pays de la Loire is renowned for its beautiful Châteaux with Le Lude, Chateaudun, Amboise, Baugé and Blois around an hour away.
