You will have far reaching views of the Montagne Noire (the Black Mountains) from your private studio accommodation Your space will consist of a double bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a shower room / toilet attached. There is a studio type kitchen, fitted with a coffee machine, kettle, small fridge and microwave this will enable you to warm food through and keep some food items fresh. For those who love nature, you won't be disappointed with the views that both these rooms have to offer. You will have the added benefit of your own private entrance via the winter garden room, this room is also for you to enjoy. It makes for the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and calm.
We had a bed and breakfast before and loved it! So much so, we are doing it again, but on a much smaller scale. We both share a passion of walking and Paul is more than happy to share routes of our well trodden walking paths with you. Cycling, photography, travel, motorbiking, food, both vegetarian and vegan, yoga, movies, gardening are all things we love.
Fanjeaux is a hidden gem off the main road between Mirepoix and Carcassonne. We are perfectly situated in this hilltop medieval village. You won't have to go far to explore all that this area has to offer, from wine tasting to Cathar castles. Fanjeaux acts as a gateway to so many other beautiful towns and villages. As well as being less than an hour from the beautiful pink city of Toulouse. Our own village hosts a Tabac / bar, a pharmacy, a baker, a grocery store, a burger bar and a restaurant. All of these are within walking distance from our place.
