Superbly situated for touring both the Dordogne and the Bastide towns of the beautiful Lot et Garonne countryside, Liguand is only a half hour drive from Bergerac International Airport. With easy access to Bordeaux International Airport, the drive through the vineyards and countryside will have you totally relaxed for the start of your holiday.
Set in 2.5 hectares Liguand is just 1km from the village of Saint Quentin du Dropt with the nearby Bastide towns of Castillonnes and Issigeac just a 5 minute drive away.

Five years ago Garry and I took a leap of faith and moved to France to follow our dream of a slower way of life. What began as a love for French countryside charm grew into a passion for sharing it with others.
We've poured our hearts into restoring and preparing our gîtes to create a place where guests can relax, unwind and experience the beauty and tranquillity that first drew us here. Whether you're exploring local markets, enjoying long lunches in the sunshine or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings we hope you feel as at home here as we do.
Saint Quentin du Dropt is a small village with a bakery, organic farm and church. A very quiet part of France - not a disco or nightclubbing area. Within 5km is a local supermarket selling most items - larger hypermarkets are a 30 minute drive in Bergerac. Easy quick access to the bigger villages which have day markets with fresh vegetables and clothing. During July and August the surrounding villages take it in turn to hold night markets selling local food and wine at reasonable prices and often entertainment. Detail of these markets will be provided when you arrive.
