So peaceful! Down a quiet track so though it wasn’t far off the motor way you couldnt hear it. We were in the barn, had both bedrooms which was ample for a family of 5. No access to cooking facilities but used the 24 pizza kiosk (!) in the nearby...

Location was quiet, and just what we needed after 3 terms of teaching and lots of driving. Could've stayed here longer, but it was a stop over on way to Bordeaux. My kids (13,12 and 9) loved the pool and shared it with 2 families who were there...

It's just a perfect place for the families with children. The hosts were friendly and flexible, the rooms we stayed were clean, nicely decorated, and really cozy. You can't see that it was once an old barn ;) The beds were very comfortable, too....

The tent was so clean and smelled fresh. The beds and duvets were really comfortable and the pillows were great. The farm was so quiet and peaceful but the kids also had great fun lying in hammocks and petting the animals.

Escape to the Dordogne countryside and discover La Ferme des Lamas Dordogne, set among 3 hectares of meadows, a natural pond, and an old washhouse. Our farm is a true haven of peace, perfect for families seeking nature, calm, and a little serenity. Relax by the swimming pool or enjoy friendly moments with other guests. Our curious llamas, chatty donkeys, and playful goats promise tender and joyful moments, while our accommodations offer stunning views over the Dordogne and Corrèze. Children can enjoy a truly special experience: earning their Llama Farmer Diploma, learning to feed the animals, collect fresh eggs, and take part in a few fun farm tasks along the way. The region is full of treasures: just 10 minutes away, explore Arnac-Pompadour or Ségur-le-Château, ranked among The Most Beautiful Villages of France. Don’t miss Hautefort Castle, Collonges-la-Rouge, or the Saut Ruban Waterfall. For adventurers, cycling, canoeing, leisure lakes, tree-top courses, and zip-lining create unforgettable family experiences. Our evenings at the local festive markets add a magical touch — eating, dancing, and enjoying live music under the stars. A warm, authentic, and unforgettable stay awaits you at La Ferme des Lamas Dordogne! 🌿✨
Sarah and Nigel are delighted to welcome you and to share the peaceful, serene atmosphere of their beautiful farm. Their goal is simple: to create a place where every guest can relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a warm, friendly stay surrounded by gentle animals and beautiful scenery. While you unwind by the pool and enjoy the calm of the Dordogne, children can experience something truly special: earning their Llama Farmer Diploma! They will have the chance to learn the basics of animal care, help feed the llamas, donkeys and goats, collect fresh eggs, and take part in a few small farm tasks. It’s a hands-on experience that children absolutely love — and one that often becomes their favourite holiday memory. Sharing their daily life and their passion for animals is something Sarah and Nigel truly enjoy. They love chatting with guests, telling the story of the farm, and recommending their favourite places: walking trails, picturesque villages, lively summer markets and hidden gems throughout the Dordogne. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful countryside break, an outdoor adventure, or simply a memorable family holiday, you’ll find a warm, authentic and welcoming atmosphere here. Sarah and Nigel look forward to welcoming you to La Ferme des Lamas Dordogne! 🌿✨
