You’ll love the stylish décor of this charming place to stay. No 41 is situated in the beautiful Medieval village of Saint Germain de Confolens on the banks of the river Vienne in the Charente region of South-West France. We welcomes guests all year round - Relax during the summer months in the garden overlooking the river with views to the chateau, or cosy up in the sitting room in front of the fire in winter. Our home is your home! Guests have the use of the shared kitchen and are welcome to help themselves to tea/coffee at anytime. The village is quiet and relaxing but not for from amenities.
Elise & Richard have lived in France for 8 years. They have several years experience of running chambre d'hotes and gites in France. Now settled in Saint Germain de Confolens where Elise runs a quirky boutique/brocante they have opened their new home as a chambre d'hote.
No 41 is found in the heart of the medieval village of Saint Germain de Confolens. Visit the charming ruined chateau, romanesque church, boutique/brocante/cafe or dine at the lovely restaurant or in the riverside park. Just 4km from the local town of Confolens with all amenities and wonderful yearly festival. This is a fantastic picturesque area ideal for walking/cycling/kayaking. Angouleme, Limoges & Poitiers a within an hours drive.
