We are the new owners and operators of Repos a Riberac, having recently purchased this stunning B&B . We are excited to continue the legacy of warm and welcoming hospitality in our lovely new home. We are learning about all there is to see and do in the area and would love to assist you in scheduling your trip in the beautiful Dordogne. We are also happy to assist you in finding places to dine in this area so rich in food and wine. The guests of Repos have stayed for a variety of reasons from being here to attend weddings or training courses in the area to visiting family or buying (or looking to buy) property. We look forward to meeting you and learning how we can B&B can best serve your needs.
Property information
Repos a Riberac is a rare example of a traditional town house which has been renovated, with the help of a local architect, to maintain as many of its original architectural features as possible. It has been officially classified by 'Batiments de France' as a 'maison de caractere'. Wherever possible local, natural, materials have been used in its renovation in order to provide the necessary comforts for the way we live today. The thick stone walls make for good insulation in all seasons so you'll be able to enjoy the cool, shady, inner courtyard in the hotter months. With the addition of modern, efficient central heating and log burning fires you'll have a warm, cosy ambience throughout the house in the cooler months. There is good Wifi throughout the house and courtyard for your convenience. Please note that whilst we will do all we can to provide the room reserved by our guests, in certain circumstances we retain the right to offer an alternative room.
Neighbourhood information
Riberac is centrally located and a wonderful base from which to visit all the Perigord has to offer. Perigueux, Angouleme (with TGV) and Bergerac (with its airport) are all a 45 minute drive from us. St Emilion is about an hour away and Bordeaux (airport and TGV) is an hour and a half from here. If you prefer to stay in the town we're a few minutes walk from the bars, cafes and restaurants as well as the other small, privately owned shops and commerces. Riberac has a state of the art municipal swimming pool complex (swimming, diving and kiddies pools), small cinema, art galleries and lively outdoor musical events throughout the summer months.
