Sorry there is no WIFI and no air conditioner. In the key box – code sent on the day of your arrival – you will find 1 key that opens the door. We recommend that you put this key back in the key box and scramble the code every time you leave the apartment . Bed and bathroom linen will be delivered to you the day of your arrival (except for reservations of less than 4 nights in which case you will have to bring your own linen or rent it yourself). The beds will have to be made and unmade by you. When you leave, please put the laundry back in the bag (duvet covers, fitted sheets, pillowcases, bath sheets and bath mats) and place the bag inside the appartement in the corridor. The mattress pads must remain on the beds. To plan for your stay: Tea towel, Nespresso capsules, toilet paper and trash bags, slippers. It is forbidden to move around with ski boots on your feet in the residence. Bring slippers to go from the ground floor where you will need to take off your shoes to the apartment and to the ski locker. You also have a bicycle storage room shared with the other tenants of the residence (bring a padlock). This apartment is equipped as follows: dishwasher, induction hob, combined oven, refrigerator, duvets and pillows, vacuum cleaner, toaster, kettle, NESPRESSO coffee maker, hair dryer, television. Parking is possible in front of the residence upon your arrival and departure but you will then have to move the car elsewhere for the rest of your stay. Parking is free on the streets but there are also paid covered car parks (see the station website). You will find fresh bread and croissants every morning at the “super U” just opposite. The Alpe Express gondola (to the left of the super U) (free) takes you to the snow front towards “Bergers” (be careful closed in the evening access to the city center on foot). The Résidence Le Grand Sud is very well maintained and recently renovated, it is located just opposite the Eclose shopping center (restaurants, ski rentals, cheese shop and supermarket) and the Alpe Expresss cable car (50m walk). The Eclose district has retained the charm of a mountain village . The center of the resort (Avenue des Jeux and Palais des Sports) is a 6-minute walk away. Located on a south-facing plateau at an altitude of 1860m, Alpe d'Huez and its ski area enjoy maximum sunshine: you will enjoy your day of skiing with the sun: up to 7.5 hours of sunshine in December, up to 'at 11 hours of sunshine in April.
