I run a local run business that has been operating chalets in Chamonix for over 20 years under the name Nomadic Ski. We have owned The Castle, our primary chalet, now for the majority of this time and it is these years of experience that have put us in the perfect position to provide a hassle free ski holiday for you. Whether you're looking for a self-catered studio aparetment for a short break, a small apartment for you and five friends to explore the town from, or maybe even a 20 bed chalet complete with the works. We're happy to cater for whatever you need and will try our hardest to make your visit to Chamonix as perfect as possible.

Property information

The Lower Lodge consists of the bottom two levels of our flagship chalet, The Castle. With completely independent access and isolation from the rest of the chalet, the Lower Lodge can accommodate groups of up to 10 people with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The Castle is the largest of the 3 buildings on the site which also accommodates the mini-chalet “Le Nid” and the garage with the “Princess Suite” bedsit apartment. The Castle can also be divided for smaller groups into 3 separate apartments, The Lodge (10 Guests), Midi (6 Guests) and Summit (6 guests). Or for very large groups all buildings can be taken with accommodation for up to 27 guests

Neighbourhood information

The famous Aiguille Du Midi is walking distance to the chalet. This is a must-visit attraction for anyone staying in Chamonix. The beauty of the chalet is that it really is walking distance to the centre of town where you will find fantastic shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, the cinema and nightlife. The Chamonix bus system has been overhauled during the last year in a concerted effort to make Chamonix more environmentally-friendly. The public transport is great. There are bus stops within walking distance to the chalet. There is the Mulet, a little electric bus, that loops around town. The stop is just outside the chalet. The central bus station is also within walking distance and from here you can take buses to the various ski fields and also coaches to Italy, Geneva, Annecy and beyond.
