The house is quirky. We can provide 3 course evening meals.
You relax and have a holiday we do the work.
The house has a communal games room with table football, darts and a pool table.
The house has a kettle in a communal area as well as a TV which maybe watched.
The house originally built in 1897 and extended with a large addition in 1963 to form a girls finishing school where students boarded and learnt how to be domestic helps before being placed into homes for employment. The school was very popular and was closed in 1994 when the college was relocated to a larger property.
The school remained empty until 2018 and was in a very dilapidated state when we purchased it. The building has had a large makeover but maintenance is always ongoing to improve the guest experience.
Lisa and Peter are very welcoming and will try to offer a 5 star experience to you as we really do care that you feel at home and well looked after.
Cooking- we love it! We will discuss menus with you and ensure you not only get quality food you like and good quantities too. No one goes away from our dinning table hungry!!
We love interactions with guests and are very happy to take your lead as to how scarce or available you want us to be.
The property is in the middle of a French National Park and the area is beautiful.
We are within 90 minutes of the D Day landing beaches and many war museums;
within 90 minutes of St Malo and Mont St Michel, both of which are essential to visit;
within 100 minutes of Le Mans famous 24 hour race circuit.
