The business was originally developed from the humble restorations of the historic Coppermines buildings, situated in the Coniston Coppermines Valley by Philip Johnston and his family who still own our business today, making us one of the last independent agencies here in the Lake District. Over the years we have significantly grown to now offer over 90 hand-picked, unique, self-catering Lake District cottages (many pet-friendly), all of which are situated within the UNESCO World Heritage boundary.

The town of Windermere and the neighbouring Bowness-on-Windermere offers visitors a plethora of activities and past times to enjoy. Take a seat on board Windermere Lake Cruises and explore England's largest lake or simply meander around the independent gift shops and cafes.
