Wrentham is a village mentioned in the Doomsday Book and has a number of listed buildings in the area. There is a small local shop and a Factory outlet nearby as well as two great pubs and a Chinese takeaway, Just a short walk from the cottage. Easy access to many sought after locations: Southwold, Walberswick, Lowestoft, Norwich and Beecles, Gateway to the Norfolk Broads are all within reach. Two secluded beaches are close by: Cove Hithe and Benacre, both are nature reserves with a variety of bird and wildlife. The area is crisscrossed with byways to walk and cycle. The cottage is on the London Road, Beccles ( A12 ) Parking is either in a lay-by very close-by or in a road just around the corner. There is a bus service near by and many country lanes to cycle on or walkways to enjoy.
