My 2 bedroom annexe was built in my back garden in 2021 and I have kitted it out to the highest standards that I could, with a fully loaded fitted kitchen, underfloor heating and (I have been told) very comfortable beds. You can drive up your private part of my drive to a parking space right outside of the annexe, and I've tried to ensure that the annexe is accessible with only a couple of small steps as the levels of the patio change. a private gate to the SW Coastal Path is just about a 100 metres from the annexe, from where you can enjoy a number of lovely coastal walks.
I have been hosting since the beginning of 2022 when the annexe was completed. I'm retired from work now (apart from hosting) and live on my own in this very quiet road on the outskirts of Paignton. I love cooking, especially curries, and have considered offering evening meals to guests, although I haven't yet put my toe in that water.
The annexe is located on the edge of Paignton in a quiet road looking out over Torbay. Both Torquay and Brixham are close by and on either end of a good bus route that goes past the end of the road. Brixham is a lovely fishing port with excellent fish and chips! Also within striking distance are Dartmouth and Salcombe, both of which are lovely to wander round. Torquay has some excellent restaurants and several interesting places to visit.
