The cottage is perfect for families and couples alike that want a comfortable and relaxing base for their holiday. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a sumptuous king size bed and the other has 2 singles all with quality linen and fluffy white towels. Chapel Mews was converted and renovated by ourselves in 2020 and 2021 so it benefits from the charm of the old and the convenience of the new, like easy to control zoned heating for upstairs and down, unlimited fibre broadband and a 42" smart TV with HD terrestrial channels plus Netflix and Prime apps that you can log onto your accounts with. Chapel Mews was the Church Hall to the United Reformed Church that was built in the early 1800s and is now the Sidmouth Toy Museum. Chapel Mews has a beautiful hand made 9 foot tall gothic arch window that reaches up into the bedroom with a section of glass floor allowing you to see the whole window yet retaining the privacy of the bedroom. Downstairs there is a comfortable open plan living area with 2 good sized 2 seater sofas, a dining table that can be used as a home workstation and a fully equipped kitchen, off the entrance hall there is also a cloakroom with a W/C and full sized wash basin. Upstairs the 10' 6" high vaulted ceilings give the rooms a light and airy feeling, the master bedroom has the feature arch window, a sumptuous king size bed and good sized wardrobe. The second bedroom has 2 comfortable single beds and a good sized wardrobe. The shower room has a lovely curved walk in shower with a large rain head great to kick start the day or to wind down at the end of a busy day exploring.

2 Chapel Mews is just a 200m walk from the sea front with access to the South West Coast Path at either end for walks with stunning views over the Jurassic coastline and the beautiful East Devon countryside. There is always something happening in and around Sidmouth the famous Folk festival at the end of July and the new Jazz and Blues Festival in June or art exhibitions and theatre shows throughout the year, just search 'what's on Sidmouth'.
