The caravan is situated on a peaceful site , we can see across the Solway firth to Scotland and witness some amazing sunsets. The loudest noise you will hear is the birds singing. Nice children's play area close behind the caravan. We provide almost everything, please bring bath/shower towels with you. The caravan has central heating and is cleaned to a very high standard by ourselves. We allow dogs on request only, a small fee applies. Happy holidays, Caroline.
Hi, we live in the village it is a lovely place, the locals are friendly and there are some great walks on the doorstep, also ideal for cycling or running. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Gilcrux is a lovely Cumbrian farming village close to the market town of Cockermouth and a short drive from the lakes and mountains of the lake district. Allonby is a 5 minute drive and has fabulous beaches. There is an excellent pub in the village, The Masons Arms, serving high quality food and drink, straight across the road from site entrance.
