A short walk from the property you are able to access the Teifi Trail 'A unique trail of diverse landscapes following the Teifi River from its source at Teifi Pools in the Cambrian Mountains, through Cors Caron a national nature reserve; through woods and farmland to the Teifi Rivers mouth'. A 10 minute drive will take you to Cors Caron national nature reserve. A vast area of wetland filling the broad valley of the River Teifi near Tregaron. The three raised peat bogs are surrounded by reedbeds, fen, wet grassland, woodland, waterways and ponds, supporting a wealth of wildlife. There is a fully accessible boardwalk with a large bog hide, an ideal spot where you can enjoy a peaceful view of the landscape and wildlife. From here you can also access the Ystwyth Trail, a 20 mile scenic cycleway that extends to the seaside town of Aberystwyth. Substantial off road sections of the trail follow the track of the old Great Western Railway line and are suitable for families with young children. The complete trail is suitable for experienced cyclists. The beaches of cardigan bay are situated approximately 30 miles away with popular options being Cwmtydu, Mwnt, Newquay, Llangrannog, Penbryn and Tresaith.
