Abbey Cottage was built circa 1750. It has original wooden beams & is located in Coldbath Court, a private quiet courtyard 10 minutes walk from Shrewsbury Town centre. Shrewsbury Abbey, built in 1083 is located over the road. Abbey Cottage was one of the (cold) bath houses for the Monks.

Abbey Foregate has been nestled on the banks of the Severn since Saxon times. Now it's a bustling suburb, home to independent restaurants, clubs, the Dun Cow - one of the oldest pubs in the UK & The Abbey Church dating from 1083.
