Whether it be coming home after a busy day at work or exploring everything the local area has to offer. Run by husband and wife team Ray and Natasha, they created the company for the sole aim of wanting to get into the hospitality business to provide experiences that people would look back on to remember. We truly believe that the meaning of life is the acquisition of memories and absolutely love going away ourselves for business and leisure to exploring areas that provide that perfect mix of leisure and activities. We therefore carefully consider where we chose to open up new accommodation to ensure it meets what we would expect ourselves. We stay at all of our accommodation before they go live in order to ensure they are set up effectively and efficiently to allow you a hassle free and relaxing stay. Catchpole Stays Abbey Field apartments provide views over the lovely Abbey field and are located just south of the Town itself. We personally have a close affinity with Colchester having met at the university there just over 12 years ago in our first few days and its crazy to look back and think that Colchester played such a big part in our lives as a married couple today. We have absolutely fell in love with the area and the history it has and therefore knew it was an area we would want to have an apartment that provided others with the opportunity to explore. Colchester has such a great history to it being the oldest town in England. You can visit the castle, St Boltophs Priory or see the Roman wall surrounding the town, all of which provide activities for adults and kids. If you are wanting to explore a little further afield you can go to Colchester zoo, or visit many of the local beaches in Mersea Island, Holland on Sea, The beautiful village of Wivenhoe or a bit further a field the lovely Frinton on Sea
