Achilty Guest House (formerly Achilty Hotel) under new Management is a family run Bed and Breakfast business, perfectly located only 17 miles north of Inverness in the highland village of Contin, by Strathpeffer. Achilty Guest House is a perfect location for those who enjoy the outdoors - hill walkers, golfers, mountain bikers and cyclists. Munro baggers are spoilt for choice with Ben Wyvis to the north and the Fannaichs and Ullapool hills to the north west are within easy reach of Achilty. Ample off road car parking is provided and storage facilities for cyclists, fishing equipment and even have room for the catch of the day.
Achilty Guest House is the perfect base from which to enjoy your holiday, with many whisky distilleries, castles and places of historical interest within easy reach of the bed & breakfast. To the East is Inverness, Culloden Moor, Nairn, Cawdor Castle and Fort George. It is an ideal place for touring the northern Highlands and for those travelling to and from the ferries to the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland.
