Recently constructed Alderneuk Lodge is situated in a quiet glen, near the small village of Terregles. With beautiful views across the rolling Galloway countryside, yet only minutes away from the historic town of Dumfries.

Scotland’s rich history can be fully explored in Dumfries and the surrounding area with sites connected to Robert the Bruce; Robert Burns with connections to numerous sites in the town and his farm, Ellisland just 5 miles to the north at Holywood. For the children, Alderneuk Lodge is approximately 15 minutes away from Mabie Farm Park, Dalscone Farm Park, with many other attractions within easy reach. Dumfries is well-placed to enjoy wildlife-watching, walking and hill-walking, golf, visiting gardens and exploring Caerlaverock Castle and Sweetheart Abbey. There is a wide variety of locations to experience, including forests, coastal areas and sandy beaches.
