The majority of the homes on our street are guest houses, and the Araan House Hotel is located in a popular tourist neighbourhood. We participate in "Blackpool in Bloom" in the summer, which turns the street into a riot of colour from all the hanging baskets and tubs. Over the past five years, we have either finished second or first. Also, we are pleased to have been nominated for and twice awarded for "Best Kept Street."
