Visit Lavenham, a beautiful medieval village in the heart of Suffolk, for a relaxed day out exploring the shops, cafés and restaurants The Dedham Vale and Stour Valley, also known as Constable Country, has countless beautiful walks to enjoy through the iconic landscapes made famous by English Romantic Painter John Constable. Art lovers will enjoy The Munnings Art Museum in Dedham and Gainsbourgh’s House in Sudbury. Stroll through beautiful ancient woodland at Wolves Wood just 4 miles away, or travel a little further afield and in just over an hours’ drive reach the Suffolk Coast with its classic seaside towns such as Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. Dedham Set by the River Stour, Dedham is in the heart of Constable Country. The attractive high street is lined with Georgian-fronted houses, old inns and a large Art and Crafts Centre.
