We are a cosy, family run B&B in the heart of Paignton. Moments from the beach, transport and wonders of the local area. We look forward to meeting you, from Emma, Alan and Sybil.

Property information

The Barbican is a comfortable B&B a stones throw away from the beach and the heart of Paignton. Run by two generations of the same family dedicated to bringing you the best experience. Paignton is based in the heart of the beautiful English Riviera with 22 miles of coastline and beaches. The Barbican is in a wonderful position being only 250m from the sandy beach. We are ideally positioned for public transport only a 5 minute walk from Paignton train station and bus station. Paignton Harbour, a 12 minute walk from The Barbican, offers a ferry service to Brixham and Torquay from April to October.

The Barbican Hotel is situated 100 yards from our beautiful coastline. We are also only minutes from the shops, cinema, crazy golf, steam railway, theatre, pubs, clubs and Dining Rooms. Other attractions include Paignton Zoo & The Model Village, Kents Cavern, Pennywell Farm, Woodlands, Crealy and Cokington Historic Village. And of course you have Torquay, Brixham, Totnes & Dartmouth to visit. We have an excellent public bus & train service to take you to any destination.
