Our holiday let is a home from home equipped with everything you need for a stress free break away with family and/or friends. We are pet friendly and accept up to two dogs. People with allergies should take this into consideration when booking our property. Although we clean the house thoroughly between guests, some pet hair might go undetected. We charge a 30.00 per dog per stay which is due on arrival. We are situated in a beautiful rural location with stunning views and amazing dark skies. We are a short drive from the Cairngorms National park as well as the villages of Alford, Tarland, Aboyne and Ballater. The Tarland Trails are only 7 miles away and can be accessed straight from our door if you’re a keen hill walker or mountain biker. There are many local attractions in the area, whether you’re interested in hill walking, mountain bike trails, golf, fishing, skiing, whisky or gin tours, heritage or car museums as well as local castles and large houses that you can tour through the National Trust for Scotland or Historic Scotland. You can find it all within a short walk or drive from the property. We also have an amazing hot tub where you can come back after a busy day of sightseeing and relax under the stars. We have some pigmy goats as well as some ducks and hens and so there’s almost always fresh eggs available should you wish purchase them. We are a family of four with many animals including a dog, cats, goats, ducks and chickens. We grew up in the local area and love welcoming our guests to our holiday let. You will be greeted on arrival and shown around the property. We live at the property although we won’t interfere with your stay unless you need our help with something. We are available to answer any questions (no matter what they may be) during your stay.

The holiday home is located in a quiet rural area with stunning views and lots of attractions nearby. There are many pubs, cafes and restaurants in the local villages of Alford, Aboyne and Tarland as well as other small towns and villages within a twenty mile radius. One of our favourite restaurants is the Kildrummy Inn which is located only 3.5 miles from the property.
