Beautiful fully furnished ground floor apartment with private sunny garden. All period features recently refurbished with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Flat includes full central heating and a wood burner for chilly evenings.
We have lived in this great area for over 20 years.
The apartment is located in the west town centre known as Little Chelsea. Set between the railway station (5 minute flat walk) and the seafront (also 5 minute flat walk) the area features a diverse range of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes.
The world famous Towner Gallery (host to the 2023 Turner prize) is at the end of the road next to Devonshire Park grass court tennis centre home to many LTA national and international tournaments. This area known as the Devonshire Quarter is also home to both the Congress Theatre and Devonshire Park Theatre both with an all year round programme of top quality entertainment.
The seafront is flat and level and stretches from Sovereign Harbour in the east to Holywell in the west and features amazing gardens, cafes as well as the stunning pier and bandstand. The bandstand hosts concerts throughout the summer.
Day trips to neighbouring towns Hastings and Brighton couldn’t be easier by a direct train. The bus stops are less than 5 minutes from the apartment making visits to the spectacular Beachy Head, Birling Gap, Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Valley a breeze.
There are numerous supermarket express and independent food halls in the area.
