Rich and I love our home and we always look forward to welcoming all our guests who are coming to stay. Bentley Lodge has such a tranquil atmosphere, that guests often feel relaxed and at home not long after arrival. We encourage our guests to make our home their home during their stay, nothing is too much trouble for us and we are always available should you require anything or need information on things you are interested in. We have a beautiful south facing private garden, with plenty of seating outside for guests to relax anytime of the day or evening. We have a lovely small pond with fish and a soothing fountain and an abundance of lovely birds come to visit for all the seed Rich likes to put out! Bentley Lodge Guest House Torquay is a traditional guest house that has been lovingly cared for and open throughout the year. On arrival, Richard and Debbie will warmly welcome you to their beautiful home. As we begin our 2025 season, Bentley Lodge is a beautiful and calming environment with 5 ensuite bedrooms that are maintained to a high standard throughout, with lovely decor, soft furnishings and modern shower rooms. All rooms have 24L silent fridges, smart TVs with Netflix, hot water dispensers with complementary hospitality tray, ALEXA, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and complementary toiletries in the shower rooms. 4 of our rooms are on the first floor and we have 1 superior double on the ground floor. We have installed a EV CHARGING point outside the house for our guests to use. It has a beautiful south facing garden with a lovely decked area with outside seating for guests to relax and enjoy the great weather during the summer. We offer a freshly cooked breakfast with a choice of menus and lighter alternatives, using locally sourced produce wherever possible. We offer a traditional full English breakfast with locally made sausages, premium bacon and free range eggs from happy chickens at a farm in Chudleigh. We can also cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free, coeliac and if we are aware of any specific dietary requirements prior to arrival, we are happy to cater for these too. We also offer continental options with premium preserves including Rich's homemade strawberry jam and marmalade and Debbie's fresh fruit salad. We can provide information on the surrounding area and sights worth visiting, and we are more than happy to organise and book trips and restaurants for guests, enabling you to relax more and enjoy your stay with us. Torre station is a 2 minute walk from us and it's a great way to explore the area without using your car. Bentley Lodge is located on the corner of Tor Park Road and Avenue Road, which is a flat 15-20 walk to the lovely Torre Abbey and Seafront. The house is a 2 minute stroll to Torre train station, which is ideal for taking the train to Teignmouth, Exeter, Exmouth and many more exciting places worth visiting during your stay. The warmest of welcomes awaits you on the English Riviera, South Devon’s Beautiful Bay. Surrounded by stunning coast and countryside, the towns of Torquay, Babbacombe, Paignton and Brixham offer fantastic all year round holidays for everyone, from couples to families, there are so many places to visit including Kents Cavern, Model Village, Paignton Zoo to name a few.
