Boat House Super Suites are a new type of bed and breakfast accommodation. More room, less rules, and breakfast in your own time. We provide you with a modern, bright and stylish suite with a kitchenette, and you can choose to eat your provided continental breakfast whenever suits you!

We are a family of 4 with two small children and Leo the cat. We live on-site and are on hand to help should you need anything. We also run a great family restaurant called Harry Haw's only 8 minutes walk into Rothesay town centre. Harry Haw's is open 7 days and serves lunch, brunch, dinners and is licensed. We welcome families with children and have a great view across the moat of Rothesay's 12th century castle!

Bute is a Scottish island like no other. Only an hour away from Glasgow, it offers a world away from the hustle and bustle. After a 35 minute ferry crossing from Wemyss Bay, you arrive smack bang in Rothesay town centre. Our historic moated 12th century Castle is just for starters. We’re lucky to have a number of independently owned shops, two local butchers, two fishmongers, a bakery, two art galleries, a gorgeous designer clothes boutique, quality homeware shops, a great book shop, famous locally-made ice cream from Zavaronis - as well as quality eateries such as Harry Haw’s, Musicker and The Coffee Stop. Around Bute we have lolloping seals at Scalpsie Bay, huge cakes & sandy beaches at Ettrick Bay Tearoom, world class outstanding Gothic architecture in Mount Stuart House, Ascog Victorian Fernery, gorgeous walks, cycling, great golf on any of Bute’s 3 golf courses. Loch Fad offers trout & pike fishing, Ardbrannan offers horse & pony riding. There are standing stones and light houses. We even have our own West Island Way walking route. Come and visit!
