We are locate in the picturesque village of Thornton Le Dale - here, the thatched cottage and charming babbling Brook represents one of the best loved sights in the whole of the National Park. The village itself is centred on a tiny triangular green with its own cross and stocks, and there is no shortage of cafes, country pubs and small shops. Nearby Dalby Forest offers everything from cycling and walking to adventuring and star gazing. There are many fabulous trails and sights including Ellerburn with its Saxon Church and the Bridestones in Dalby Forest. Dalby forest is an area of outstanding Dark Skies site to see the stars, planets, nebulae and galaxies ! And also hosts Forest live in June 2024 this year we have Bryan Adams on the 21st and Nile Rodgers on the 22nd June. Pinfold Cottage is also the perfect base from which to explore Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Helmsley an York, all within 35 minutes drive.
