Welcome to our home a beautiful 1950’s detached house Bosloe is situated in the historic market town of Helston on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula and within walking distance of the National Trust Penrose Estate, Loe Pool & beach (2.2 miles) and the southerly fishing Port of Porthleven. You will have your own attractive newly refurbished ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower, flat screen smart tv, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge microwave and free internet(Wi-fi). There is a guest living room with smart tv, board games, record player, dining table and chairs, comfortable settee and coffee table. Outside there is a seating area with free parking space. Sorry no hen or stag guests. We do not provide breakfast, however there is a guest kitchen with toaster, some complimentary supplies, a non profit making honesty box snack shop, located in the entrance hallway, providing drinks and assorted food items including breakfast bars, crisps, pot noodles etc.. for your convenience or there are numerous cafes and restaurants just a short walk away.

We are Nicki and Bryan, and we have a very well behaved chocolate cocker spaniel called Stanley. We have lived together at Bosloe for 16 years. Our son Tom lives in a newly built detached house called Avalen next door in what was once Bosloe’s kitchen garden and up until a few years ago home to our chickens. He also has holiday accommodation too.

The property stands at the bottom of Helston town centre, which you can find an array of local shops, restaurants, a super market, boating lake and a choice of public houses. Helston itself is an historic market town, which is most famous for it's annual 'Flora Day' event - May 8th. There is plenty to see and do within Helston and it's surrounding areas such as: The Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Poldark Mine, Helston Museum, Goonhilly Earth Station, various Estates and gardens, and many Cornish beaches close by. Helston provides the main gateway to the Lizard Peninsula - Britain's most southern point. There are plenty of National Trust walks near by which offer outstanding, natural beauty spots such as Penrose Manor House. Penrose has a mixture of woodland, wetland & beach walks suitable for all ages and abilities. The harbourside town of Porthleven is a short drive which boasts a relaxing atmosphere with it's freshly caught seafood takeaways, high end restaurants, gift shops, public houses, water sport activities, iconic landmarks such as it's impressive, working harbour and it's 70 foot-high clock tower.
