On the edge of Exmoor with views of the sea, Bramble Cottage is in a peaceful and beautiful location. It is within easy access to the glorious North Devon beaches and Exmoor is on the doorstep. A short drive can avail you of almost any activity you could want - hiking, biking, surfing, coasteering, golf, horse riding, shopping, relaxing, ice creams, Michelin star food to name just a few...during the school holidays the minimum stay is 7 nights and the changeover day is Saturday..
We are 5 years into our renovation projection. We have a newly renovated Bramble Cottage available on the edge of Exmoor in a peaceful setting with lots of animals. We are a retired firefighter and a languages teacher.
We are on-site so can help you with any questions or problems. There is a key safe to enter the property so you have flexibility with arrival times.
We are in a rural location but within easy reach of all the fantastic amenities, North Devon and Exmoor have to offer. There are beaches for swimming, surfing, coasteering, sunbathing, moors for hiking, birdwatching, horseriding. There are a number of golf courses in the area. The Tarka trail is an excellent location to go cycling, walking, or jogging. There are a number of attractions for a whole day of fun such as The Big Sheep, Milky Way, Watermouth Castle, Exmoor Zoo, and Combe Martin Wildlife Park. Nearby are Wistlandpound Reservoir to enjoy a lake walk and Arlington Court, a National Trust house and grounds. There are an array of high-quality restaurants and pubs in the area of which many now also offer a takeaway service.
A car is essential. There is parking available on the property.
