St Albans, Cambridge and London are all within easy reach, but we think that the very best thing about staying at The Garden House is the chance to relax in a beautiful setting, with an acre of private gardens, surrounded by trees, parkland, and wildlife. If you like bird spotting, squirrel, deer, or even sheep spotting, you will be happy here! The nearest village is Watton-at-Stone, a mile away, with a good bakery, a butcher and a deli. You'll also find The Bull, an excellent pub for local ales and hearty food. The historic market town of Hertford is 6 miles away, full of independent boutique shops to explore, real ale pubs and many dining options. We are a countryside retreat in Hertfordshire, but with easy road and rail access to London and the rest of the UK. There is ample car parking available at The Garden House.
