There is a Ferry from Armadale to Mallaig which is 3.5 miles down the road. Armadale is also where the local bus stop is which can take you to other parts of the island, however there is no local transport from Ardvasar down the single track road to Aird so a car is essential. We are 45 miles from portree, 25 miles from kyle of lochalsh and 33 miles to raasay ferry terminal
